These 48 x 32 x 38 collapsible bulk containers stack securely when full, and collapse down when empty for return trips, allowing for more containers per truck when compared with fixed-wall metal bulk bins. With an all-plastic design, its tare weight is less than a metal bin, allowing trucks to cube out before weighing out simply due to heavy packaging. The 48″ x 32″ footprint makes it ideal for sequencing parts, as well as right-sizing part shipments for assembly and work-in-process operations. This collapsible bulk bin was specifically designed to deliver better protection and efficiency for transporting parts in automotive and industrial applications by eliminating the need for the metal bulks and wooden crates that are typically encountered. With a three-runner base design, this container can fit into currently supported racking systems and automation systems operating on the European 1200 x 800 standard. The runner’s double-wall construction can withstand impact from fork trucks, while its two-snap locking system ensures a solid connection.
