Corrugated plastic is produced by extruding molten polymer into a layered sheet structure that resembles corrugated cardboard. During extrusion, two flat outer walls are formed with a fluted interior web that provides rigidity while keeping the material lightweight. Once cooled, the sheets are cut to size and can be further processed for printing, die-cutting, or fabrication into finished products.
